We finally bought LetterDrop, and I'm 200% sold.

Here is why:

People want to hear about real problems you are solving for customers in similar situations.

We've been trying to tell these stories through customer stories up until now, but all my GTM folks know how that goes.

It takes weeks, if not months, to get a real story out because of approvals.

There is GOLD in sales calls, I listen to them daily.

Now with LetterDrop, we can turn these juicy calls into great LinkedIn posts for our sales team.

They were bought in on day 1.

Before LetterDrop, we were negotiating with them if they could post 2 to 3 times a week. They thought it was too much.

Now with LetterDrop, they are doing it daily and loving it.

Don't sleep on this, Letterdrop is legit.

Thanks Parthi Loganathan and Ryan Patel for the incredible sales and implementation process!

At this point, I think all salespeople should be posting on LinkedIn.

Think about it like this…

Salespeople want two things:

1) Pipeline
2) Closed deals

Today, pipeline comes from:

\- Cold emails, calls, or LinkedIn DMs
\- Inbound from marketing or partnership
\- Events
\- Referrals

All great, but:

\- Inbound and referrals tend to have higher win rates
\- But they don’t scale the way cold messaging (and kind of events) do

Posting on LinkedIn is the magical combination of higher win rate + scalable:

\- When you post on LinkedIn, it shows up \*\*organically\*\* in the feeds of your connections
\- Think of it like having your own personal marketing email list
\- You can send one:many communication any time you want
\- AND you can add people to your “email list” very easily by sending connection requests

It becomes a machine.

By building it, you get:

\- An asset YOU (The Seller) own forever
\- It directly generates pipeline
\- It makes all your other pipe gen efforts more effective (40-70% higher open rate due to name recognition) (\*𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁\*)
\- It persuades and nurtures your open opportunities while you sleep

Note: you need to post content that increases the odds a relevant prospect would want to do business with you

1) Industry or role related content
2) Personal brand content (makes you look cool, funny, smart, etc)

And there are more and more tools every day to automate the entire machine (content, list growth, signals, etc).

I think [Letterdrop](https://www.linkedin.com/company/letterdrop?trk=public_post_embed-text) will be the category leader for this. They didn’t ask/pay me to post this (but I do a small amount of consulting for them -- started working together because I think they’re really on to something; and yes, got their business via LinkedIn... 🤓).

They’ll just come drop a fully functioning factory in your yard.

Really want to hear your thoughts – should salespeople be active on LinkedIn?

LinkedIn

Have any of y’all heard of Letterdrop?

I LOVE what they do and here’s why I think they’ll be massively successful 👇

1. They solve a big problem

Problem: Founders, sales people, marketers and creators want to post on LinkedIn.

But they don’t: 🚫 Know what to write about 🚫 Have the time to create content 🚫Know what topics/ideas to write about

2. Their solution is simple

Solution: Take REAL buyer questions from sales calls & turn them into LinkedIn posts.

This supplies users with content to post. Solving the challenges mentioned above.

3. They keep humans in the loop 🤝

On their website they mention spending 3 minutes editing posts to make them authentic.

And the fact that they’re generated from actual sales convo’s remove the “ick” I feel when I see posts purely generated from AI with no edits.

I’m excited to follow and see what you guys do.

Might even send a few exec’s your way to try it out Parthi Loganathan 🤝

I grew my LinkedIn follower count 50% from 8,000 to 12,000 in under 6 months.

These are the 10 strategies and automations that I've been using to grow my audience:

1\. Automated newsletter subscriber connections

[beehiiv](https://www.linkedin.com/company/beehiiv?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ sends all new subscribers to a [Clay](https://www.linkedin.com/company/grow-with-clay?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ table that:

\- Enriches the email
\- Finds the linked in Profile
\- Sends me a slack notification
\- Sends subscriber to La Growth Machine‎
\- La Growth Machine‎ sends a connection request and thank you message to subscriber

2\. [Letterdrop](https://www.linkedin.com/company/letterdrop?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ takes my recorded [Gong](https://www.linkedin.com/company/gong-io?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ calls and terms them into LinkedIn posts that highlight the learnings, insights, or recommendations from that call. Shout out to [Parthi Loganathan](https://www.linkedin.com/in/parthiloganathan?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ for building such a killer tool.

This enables me to create compelling content in < 5 minutes throughout the week.

3\. I have a [beehiiv](https://www.linkedin.com/company/beehiiv?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ + [Clay](https://www.linkedin.com/company/grow-with-clay?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ \+ [Zapier](https://www.linkedin.com/company/zapier?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ \+ [Google](https://www.linkedin.com/company/google?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ Slides automation that automates the creation of a LinkedIn Carousel asset when I post a new [Claymation](https://www.linkedin.com/company/gtm-engineering-newsletter?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ article. I simple tweak in < 5 minutes, download a PD, and post. This is a new one that i just started, so more results to come.

4\. Newsletter/content collaborations with [Growth Lab](https://si.linkedin.com/company/maja-voje-business-consultancy?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ & [Maja Voje](https://www.linkedin.com/in/majavoje?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ and others. Would love to do more of these with others.

5\. I try to be consistent posting 3-5 times a week. A combination of content from my newsletter, from [Letterdrop](https://www.linkedin.com/company/letterdrop?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎, videos (goal is to do more of these in 2025), and written content of course.

6\. Partnering with [PETER KANG](https://www.linkedin.com/company/peter-kang?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ at [Clay](https://www.linkedin.com/company/grow-with-clay?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ to learn from his Tik-Tik influencer days.

7\. [Assembly](https://www.linkedin.com/company/tryordinal?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ to schedule posts in advance and to create a calendar plan of upcoming content. They also have some cool AI that helps you create variations and repurpose content to other platforms.

8\. Doing guest posts like the one I did on growing [Claymation](https://www.linkedin.com/company/gtm-engineering-newsletter?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ by using [Substack](https://www.linkedin.com/company/substack?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ and [beehiiv](https://www.linkedin.com/company/beehiiv?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ at the same time.

9\. Just started using [Kondo](https://www.linkedin.com/company/trykondo?trk=public_post_embed-text) ‎ \- the [Superhuman](https://www.linkedin.com/company/superhuman-co?trk=public_post_embed-text) to more quickly respond to a growing number of inbound messages from LinkedIn. Engagement of newsletter subscribers and followers is key.

10\. Putting my newsletter link in my work email signature and creating relevant 'how to' guides that would I can send to customers that I help during the day at Clay. Most articles have a link back to a LinkedIn post to drive more traffic to those assets.

What am I missing? Would love to hear some cool tips from others!
